At FutureProof Retail / Express Checkout, we collect and manage user data according to the following Privacy Policy, with the goal of incorporating our company values: transparency, accessibility, sanity, usability. By using the Express Checkout mobile application (the “App”), you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. Please read the Privacy Policy in its entirety, and refer to those for definitions and contacts. Minors and children should not use Express Checkout. By using the App, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
We collect only necessary data from every user to facilitate the creation of a user account and the information necessary to process a credit card transaction. We also collect anonymous data from every user to monitor traffic and fix bugs. For example, we collect information like web requests, the data sent in response to such requests, the Internet Protocol address, the browser type, the browser language, and a timestamp for the request.
We require you to log in and provide certain personal information (such as your name and email address) in order to be able to save your profile and the documents and comments associated with it. In order to enable these or any other login based features, we store your login credentials in your device’s local app storage. We also ask you to provide us a with a picture of yourself in order to provide the Merchant with a means by which to identify you for increased customer service and security. We ask you for your credit card number, your name associated with that card, the expiration date of that card, the ccv number , and your postal code associated with that card in order to facilitate the electronic processing of said card.
You are able to view, change and remove your data associated with your profile. Should you choose to delete your account, please contact us at support@futureproofretail.com and we will follow up with such request as soon as possible.
To customize our service for you, we may collect and store your precise geographic location as part of your user profile. This data generally is not shared with others. We may ask for your consent on your first use of the service. Please consult with your device manufacturer for how to suspend these features.
We only use your personal information to provide you the Express Checkout services or to communicate with you about the services. All information required for these functions are protected by industry standard practices:
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input.
We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.
We do not store credit card information ourselves, we have contracted a highly secure data storage and tokenization company TokenEx to provide us with these services. We transmit an encrypted credit card number to TokenEx who stores, encrypts, and transmits secure tokens to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent, unless:
doing so is appropriate to carry out your own request;
we believe it’s needed to detect, prevent or address fraud, security or technical issues;
otherwise protect our property, legal rights, or that of others.
Express Checkout is operated from the United States. If you are using the App from outside the U.S., you agree to any processing of any personal information you provide us according to this policy.
We share only the necessary personal information with the third parties TokenEx and Worldpay for processing of electronic transactions. We use Google Analytics to store aggregated, anonymized, non credit card data to help us improve the Express Checkout App and service. We currently use Google Analytics to track statistics on UI elements, pages visited, and server response times.
We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make major changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Website or sending you an email. A user is bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the Services after such changes have been first posted.
